About World Energy Systems

Seven years ago, Don Williams of Williams Control discovered that two common inexpensive forms of energy would react when colliding and the energy would mostly be converted to heat. We all know that if a car is traveling 50mph and strikes a stationary tree that energy is produced consisting of sound, metal bending or breaking, and G-force. When two cars each doing 50mph collide head-on, this energy is increased by four times. The same is true with energies that collide. They produce four times that heat that either energy would by itself. When no sound or bending occurs, practically all of the energy is converted to heat.

Don Williams realized that heat can produce cold by the faraday process, thus giving him a method of reducing the amount of energy needed to power a home for heating and cooling, hot water, and refrigeration. Further studies by Williams indicated that the energy used in the average home falls into six categories:

     1. 55% for heating and cooling
     2. 20% for hot water
     3. 8% for refrigeration
     4. 8% for lighting, entertainment, communication, misc. appliances
     5. 5% for cooking
     6. 4% for dishwashers, washers, and dryers

In 1981, Williams Electric & Air Conditioning innovated the programmable set-back control thermostats for reducing heating, cooling, and hot water energy use and introduced some of the first in the world to Giles County, Tennessee. These controllers are now standard equipment in most new homes and typically save 20-30% in energy costs.

In 1982, Williams Control Company put in a bid to furnish demand limiters to Giles County, Tennessee schools. This technology was so new, that it was not until two years later that anyone patented it. After its patent, demand limiting technology went world wide. After Giles County school systems implemented demand limiters in 1994, they save 30-40% on electrical costs.

In 2003, Williams Control Company brings the first viable, reliable, cost-efficient solar hybrid thermal system for home energy consumption reduction, capable of reducing thermal energy cost by 75% and making it possibly to operate your home on $2,000 worth of photovoltaic panels mounted on a (Q.P.T.) Quad Power Tracker by World Energy Systems. Altogether, Don Williams has filed thirteen disclosure documents to the United States Patent and Trademark Offices to assist in reducing your home energy usage.
